The T-26 was a Soviet light infantry tank produced in the 1930s, based on the British Vickers 6-Ton design. Armed with a 45 mm gun and a machine gun, it was one of the most widely used tanks of the Red Army in the early stages of World War II. Although effective in the 1930s, by 1941 it was already outdated against modern German armor.
